What CMS (Content Management System) does the Yahoo! Homepage run on?
I know, Yahoo! probably uses it’s own professional script. The question is more what CMS would be ideal for me to use to build something like the Yahoo! Homepage with the news in lots of categories, the connected interfaces with facebook, flickr, games, weather, … excluding specific complicated things like the whole search engine, web-mail, messenger, answers and so on.

I am also having the same problem.Each time I use Google.com to do a search, it will bring up the list of possible websites. Each time I click on a web-site, it redirects me to “searchwebway7″… and I am stuck there.

When I scan for viruses, it shows that I have none.

Very frustrating… can anyone help…. PLEASE??

I often give serious answers. Do not generalize. However, a lot of people could just save time and type it in on google and get the same answer I am giving them.

I’ve been trying to get the Yahoo! Music Engine to run, but I keep getting errors. It was working fine earlier today, but now I get errors abou8t scripts not being able to run and none of the search functionality works.

Is anyone else having this problem or know how to fix it?

As I have stated before I am having problems editing and viewing my profile, I know that this is not the same problem but probably just one of yahoo’s gliches,most likely will work in the future as well

I’m trying out Google Co-op, Google’s new custom search engine product. Basically it lets you create your own search engine including Web sites or individual pages that you select.

I have been experimenting with it and one thing I cannot figure out is how to include only one category of YA or individual pages (ie, specific questions, my profile, my answers, my ideal answers, my questions, etc) included in the search engine.

Has anyone tried this out?

Why is Yahoo Answers search tool so terrible?
I mean is not Yahoo supposed to be a search engine company? I have a search I like to run to look for new open questions, but the only setting I can use is < 7 days. That is like each open question. The results come back unsorted, and there is no way to sort the results, so I have to sift through a bunch of questions I have already seen to find the new ones. Anyone else got gripes with their search?

I think my Yahoo Search engine is compromised by a virus or spy/ad ware?
For some days whenever I click on any link listed on a Yahoo search results , instead of reaching directly to the website I am looking for I am redirected to very many different directory websites .
This is not happening with Windows Live search.
I ran several times the Bit Defender Total Security anti virus but no virus was found.
Therefore I think the Yahoo Search engine is compromised by a virus.
I would appreciate your swift answer for this annoying matter.

why is yahoo search engine slacking these days?
I’ve been using Yahoo as my main world wide web page, main search engine, & main source for motion picture & sports news.

However, as of late.. I am getting really really annoyed by the lack of informative search results.
For instance, when I look for pics for my blog or just trying to find answers to questions…
They seem to NOT show me the answers i look for…

More and more I am clicking the “google” tab for searches. Has Yahoo finally run its course? Do I really have to go to Google full time as my main search engine??

I’ve been a VERY LOYAL Yahoo user since 1996 when I was using a 14.4k world wide web modem on a 100mhz processor. I really do not want to change because Yahoo has been a huge part of my world wide web experience…

But is it time???
Why should I stay when the grass seems greener on the other side?
