			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><strong><i>Question by </i>: <br />Search Engine results are redirected, why?</strong><br />
As of a few days ago, I have been experiencing a bothersome problem. Whenever I use Yahoo, Mozilla, Google etc. I get a redirect when I click on a result. </p>
<p>For example &#8211; I was looking for information about the Dominican Republic. A number of site recommendations popped up. However, no matter which result I click on, I get redirected and a different search engine comes up. I usually end up on a site that offers up sales items, ie travel agencies, cheap flights, hotels. </p>
<p>Unless I type in the actual site address, from one of the result sites shown, I get redirected. </p>
<p>What&#8217;s worse, is that I cannot even use the back button to go back to the yahoo, mozilla, google page, I am plain out stuck.</p>
<p>I have run anti virus, malware, spy bot search and destroy&#8230; but all of that comes up clean. What can I do?</p>
<p><span id="more-1519"></span><br />
&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;</p>
<p><i>Answer by Anthony</i><br/>bugs/malware/viruses.</p>
<p>They can set proxies, to remove the proxy: in IE: tools->options->connections->lan settings button toward bottom of window-> and uncheck the boxes that state proxy.</p>
<p>Then download malwarebytes, update it, and run a full scan. </p>
<p>Just removing the proxy might work, but when you restart the personal or simply IE, then it will be back</p>
<p>
&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;<br />

<p><i>Answer by half_life1052</i><br/>No Vundo is a data harvester and pop-up annoyer. You are looking for some other type of malware. Recommend you grab the latest copy of adaware and give it a whirl.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><strong><i>Question by b down</i>: <br />Is it possible to hide certain text from search engine results?</strong><br />
I&#8217;ve built some webpages which have my first and last name in the body of the text. Is it possible to hide my name somehow from spidering search engine trackers.</p>
<p>This has happened before, when I google my name a lot of pages come up that I do not want to see.<br />
thanks!</p>
<p><span id="more-1442"></span><br />
&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;</p>
<p><i>Answer by Eyecheck</i><br/>You can put the text inside a fake attribute, for example:</p>
<div class="hide" text="Questo è il mio testo"></div>
<p>There can me more that one solution. For example, you can: * exclude the page with the robots.txt file * print the data with an external JavaScript and exclude only the JavaScript file with the robots.txt * use AJAX to load the content of the text section from an external source</p>
<p>
&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;<br />

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><strong><i>Question by Noah</i>: <br />How do I Make the Search Query appear in bold on results?</strong><br />
Hi,<br />
I have this php search engine script. Here it is:</p>
<p><?php</p>
<p> // Get the search variable from URL</p>
<p>  $  var = @$  _GET['q'] ;<br />
  $  trimmed = trim($  var); //trim whitespace from the stored variable</p>
<p>echo "</p>
<form name='form' action='search.php' method='get'>
<input type='text' name='q' value='$  trimmed'/>
<input type='submit' name='Submit' value='Search' />
</form>
<p>&#8220;;</p>
<p>// rows to return<br />
$  limit=10;</p>
<p>// check for an empty string and display a message.<br />
if ($  trimmed == &#8220;&#8221;)<br />
