About 7 times out of ten when I do a search on google (or any search engine) once the search is finished I click on a result an Im redirected to website that look like another search engine with the same terms i searched for, Something about findfastanswers.com, contest adds and other assorted pop-ups. Ive run the kaspersky critical areas scan with no results. Ive run the kaspersky full scan with no results, and the kaspersky tdss killer with no results. From what vIe found on personal forums this is a fairly new problem but all the repairs are in personal lingo an I dont quite comprehend them. Can anybody help me out in getting rid of this annoying virus?

I apparently have a virus that redirects my search engines (yahoo! and google) to irrelevant sites. This happens on all of my browsers (google, ie, safari). Any advice on how to get rid of it. i have AVG and have run av scans and rootkit scans. I have run malwarebytes’ anti-malware (even in safe mode) and have had no success. Oh and this has even affected the safari on my iphone. Suggestions??

After using malware-bytes, TDSSkiller, and following the instructions on multiple different websites using multiple different anti-malware/spyware tools I still cannot get rid of this search engine redirect problem.
I ran TDSSkiller, it took out one file, and then told me to restart. I figured, “cool, my problem is fixed”, only to find that the problem was still there even after TDSSkiller ran.
I tried running through Malware-bytes once again, along with AVG, and spybot, all of which only removed cookies. Search engine redirect is still there.
In addition to this problem, i am unable to boot into safe mode for unknown reasons. Each time i try to boot into safe mode, my personal automatically shuts down after i select to boot into ANY of the safe modes.
For some background information, I used to have an nvidia 8800 GT OC installed via PCI-express slot, but the slot broke. I removed the video card because the slot no longer worked, and my Computer started working after i removed the video card from the broken slot.
Could the broken PCI-express slot be the reason my personal is broken now? It doesn’t seem like it would cause this type of problem.
In addition to this information, any link i click on google goes through a few phases.
When i first click on the link, the loading bars states something about searching, then it states redirecting, and then it goes to a random website that has nothing to do with what i clicked on.
Ok in addition to that, I cannot get on youtube because it is now an unsafe connection. However, instead of saying i am trying to connect to youtube, it states that i am trying to unsafely connect to www.google.com?

How do I fix my Yahoo and Google search redirect problem?
Every time I search for something on these two search engines it finds many pages for the subject I am looking for but when you click on the link it redirects you to other different perilous pages. Very frustrating. I have been able to use the search engine called Goodsearch for now. I have run malware and viruscanners and detects and removes some but does not solve this problem. Please help. I have windows xp.I ran malwarebytes, combofix, and McAfee Antivirus. It removed trojans and other stuff but i’m still having the same problem. I also tried to do several system restore dates but it always states it cannot restore to those dates. What else should I do?

When I do a search and click on a link I get redirected to random sites other than the one I wanted to go to. It doesn’t always happen. But when it does I can click the same link 5 different times and get redirected to 5 different sites. If I copy the link location and paste it in the address bar it goes right to it. I have run NAV scan, Malware Bytes scan, and Super AntiSpyware. All of them come back clean. Any suggestions?

My personal picked up a search engine redirect virus. Each time I search things in Yahoo or Google and click on a link it takes me to a random unrelated page. It’s so annoying.
I ran my Anti-virus (AVG 8.5 Free) and it did not find the virus. It effects both Mozilla and IE7. How do I get rid of this virus?
