HOW DO I ADD MY OWN SEARCH ENGINE ADD-ONS WITH FIREFOX?
May 5th
Question by Haley:
How do I add my own search engine add-ons with Firefox?
In the uppermost right corner of Firefox 3.03, there is the tiny box where you can search straight from there using different search engines. With the old Firefox, I could add whatever websites I wanted just by inputting the website link. For example, I had Amazon, Dictionary.com, UrbanDictionary.com, Google Images, Youtube, and a few other search engines right up there. I tried to do that with this new Firefox, and I cannot figure out how? It seems they only have a set list of add-on search engines, not including several of the ones I want. Can I add engines of my own via link, and if so, how do I do it?

FIREFOX REDIRECTS IN GOOGLE OR ANY OTHER SEARCH ENGINE TO RANDOM WEBSITES?
Feb 28th
Question by V:
FireFox redirects in Google or any other search engine to random websites?
Over the past couple of weeks Ive been having a problem with using Firefox and google search engine(same with each other search engine).
What happens is that in either Google or any other search engine, i would run a search and all goes as normal. When I click on one of the results to go to the correct URL it suddenly changes the URL to a advertisement website (ads if you are lucky, explicit porn if you are not – or vice versa).
I ran Malwarebytes and other various programs to clean out my personal but my search comes up as my personal being clean and there is no trace of malware or anything of the sort.
How do i stop firefox from doing this? or get rid of any program on my personal that is doing this.

IS THERE A WEBSITE THAT WILL CREATE A FIREFOX SEARCH PLUGIN FOR ME?
Aug 13th
I would like to have an option in the firefox search bar that would search my local public library catalog. I know it’s possible for someone to make their own search engine plugins, but I am not all that confident in my capability to do so.
Is there a web site that I could go to where I can input the relevant website and have it more or less automatically create a custom search plugin for me?
Or is that just wishful thinking?
)
thanks.

FIREFOX SEARCH ENGINE ‘GOOGLE’ DOESN’T WORK.?
Aug 10th
When I try to search for a page on google in firefox’s built-in search on the top-right corner, a white blank page appears. Same if I type “yahoo” in the main search bar (the middle, more massive one), It doesn’t google it or go to yahoo.com. How can I fix this?
P.S. Cookies are disabled, but I used to use it without them, and it worked fine.
