Whenever I search certain keywords on a search engine, the web browser closes. Help?
Whenever I search certain keywords on a search engine, the web browser closes. An example of a keyword that causes the browser to close is hijackthis (or hjt). Sometimes when I go to certain sites, the browser also automatically closes, for example when I want to see the box score of a USC College football game online. I have run Spybot Search & Destroy and the some viruses that have come up are RSLocal, CoolWWWSearch.SmartSearch, Smitfraud-C., Win32.Agent.pz, Win32.Agent.bid, and Win32.Murlo.ff.rtk . I try to fix these problems, and they get “fixed”, but when I run the scan again, the same things come up. This is the same with adaware SE. Also, when I search those viruses up, the browser closes. I comprehend that one of these viruses/trojans is “self-preventive”, so how do I solve this problem? It also seems like a lot of people have this problem as well, but no one has a definite answer as to what is causing this. Thank you so much for your help!
