Answer by Barkley Hound
For World wide web Explorer
Click the down arrow in the search box in the upper right.
Select Manage Search Providers.
Change the default.
Find More Providers should bring you to a list where you can add more to the list.

For Firefox
Type about:config into the URL box.
Type keyword.url into filter
For Google use this parameter

http://www.google.com/search?q=

For Yahoo use this parameter

http://search.yahoo.com/search?p=

Question by Namine07:
Every time I run a search on google or bing and hit a link I get redirected?
I have noticed that when I run a search on my personal (on google or bing which are the only two search engines I have used) when I click on a link I get redirected to a page which has a definition of what I was searching for, and sponsored links. I suspect this is malware. it happens on both of my browsers (firefox and IE). I already ran a Norton 360 virus scan and it came up with nothing, and the problem still persists. Help me!!!

Answer by Jeremi Chamberlain
You have a google redirect virus! Use this website it worked for me http://deletemalware.blogspot.com/2010/02/remove-google-redirect-virus.html

Answer by Rainbow Barf
what makes bing so special? ive heard its supposed to be different but i dont see what about it is. I dont think they care going to take down google, i can envision people saying “bing it” versus “google it”
