i think yahoo.com is a great website , but would my money be enough to do a website like it ?

Sure, you could spend all that money making a site like google, but you wont make any money back. Why would people use your site instead of google or yahoo? they wont even know your site exists.
There is better investments out there surely, this doesnt seem worth the effort, at best, you wont see a good profit for years.

Hire world class mathematicians and computer scientists, invest millions of dollars in bandwidth and storage. Figure out a way to get better search results than Google, Yahoo, or heck even ask.com… Oh, and don’t forget to forge out a plan to actually profit from this endeavor. The lights in Mountain View, CA don’t stay on by accident.
