And I counted at least 20 that were definitely me. Try this and tell me, IS THIS WHO WE’VE BECOME?!!!! Am I to be remembered by some cheesy nickname I made up on the spur of the moment? Is that it? The Yahoo Answers black hole just sucked me in, and I will spend the rest of my days cracking jokes and getting violations?

Oh, sorry about that. just needed to rant a little. But seriously, check it out, does your name get more hits than your Answers nickname?

MYSQL QUESTION< CAN YOU HELP?

i have a PHP script with a sql statement that accesses a database. this script will pull each record, however. If i wanted i could restrict the records to be pulled to let us state 20 per page.

now the question: i wish to create a “”click next” button so that the user can navigate to the next 20 then next 20 and so on. how can i go by doing that? if i had 1 million records, of course when the user runs the script he or she will see a large large page and will take time for dquery to run. what is the solution here?

of course i have a search engine, which will help search by certain criteria, but i wish the user to access the whole data as well.

and it’s been a few months already.

this site i built–> http://www.rpjwaste.com is not being seen in google.com, yahoo, msn, etc. I have tried everything from submitting articles, to reconstructing the meta tags and links, to forums. NOTHING! help! What can I do to get this listed?? I might lose the client.

I found this software quite useful so I was trying to make customized button, but I have no idea how to write the scripts, so could anyone tell me what programming language are they using to write the scripts?

Here is an example of the script, (the language starts at // is what i m looking for )

but it has slowed down my pc. Now I have an igoogle icon on my toolbar with a blue ring that goes round n’ round constantly and slows down or brings everything to a screeching halt.

They ask me if I wanted Google as my homepage when I started using igoogle. I stated no. ( I use yahoo and like it). Then they ask something to the effect of–would you like google as homepage as well as yahoo? (not the exact words. cannot remeber how they did it)

I thought it would be a good idea so clicked yes.

My pc has been a mess ever since. I finally learned how to delete the google toolbar but there is still a space, maybe you would call it an icon, except it moves ALL the time. It states iGoogle with a blue script g in front of it when it’s not moving (which is rarely)l When it’s moving,
even during a yahoo search it has a lite blue ring that goes around and then it clicks back and forth between the ring and the g.

I know I messed up. I did not know I would cause this catastrophe. I can hardly even use my pc I get so irritable with the waits while that google ring locks everything up.

As I said, I deleted the google toolbar.
I guess this stupid igoogle thing will stay until I can delete google or igoogle as a 2nd homepage.

I do not know how to do that. I have asked in so many ways on the yahoo search engine but keep getting how to clear google history and other things but not the answer to my dilimma.

Before I made this stupid mistake I did have a google toolbar along with my yahoo toolbar and I usually used the google search engine because I liked the history and I just liked it better. If possible I’d like to go back to that.

But if that is not possible, I just desperately want this stupid igoogle, constantly moving and slowing and locking my use of my pc. I cannot even enjoy my pc anymore and when I need to research something where I have to search a lot of websites, forget it! It’s impossible!

I have so much pain in my upper back and shoulders and arm from trying to work with this stupid thing slowing and locking me up. It takes forever and a day to do the slightest thing.

I will send a million blessings and hope for all your good wishes to come true and state a large prayer for anyone who can help me with this. If I were a genie, I’d also allow all your good wishes! Pleaaaaaase someone, plllllleeeeeeeeese help if you can. Thank you more than I can state for any help.
